What You?ll Be Doing in the Role of the Specialist: The Specialist, Workplace Engagement Programs will play a key role in supporting the expansion and execution of a range of fundraising programs at Susan G. Komen, including the National Corporate Teams Program, DIY Fundraising, Ambassador Fundraising, and Employee Engagement and Workplace Fundraising initiatives. Working cross-functionally with staff across the organization, the Specialist will assist in the creation of programs, tools, resources, and infrastructure to support engagement and revenue generation through these programs. They will be responsible for the cultivation and engagement of National Corporate Teams leaders, participants, volunteers, and corporate partners as they engage in team building, member recruitment, and peer-to-peer fundraising to drive campaign interest and commitment and fundraising to meet revenue goals. What You Will Bring to the Table: The primary objective of the Specialist, Workplace Engagement Programs is to drive revenue to support Susan G. Komen in achieving our vision of a world without breast cancer through workplace-based fundraising and engagement programs, primarily across our signature programs, the Race for the Cure, the MORE THAN PINK Walk and the 3-Day. They will also seek out and execute on opportunities to build a National Teams presence in other fundraising programs and campaigns like DIY and Ambassador fundraising Programs and workplace-based programs. This person will: Work with the Director, Workplace Fundraising and Engagement Programs to establish strategy and direction for Komen?s workplace-based programs and the National Teams Program. Develop resources and materials to support the needs of the National Teams program in collaboration with the program leaders? teams and cross-functional teams, such as Community Development, Marketing, Communications, Resource and Program Development, Corporate Partnerships and Employee Engagement. Work cross-functionally with other departments on integration of National Teams across other organizational strategies. Work closely with Community Development Teams in markets and Corporate Partnerships team members to manage communication with key constituents which includes top fundraisers, top team captains, sponsors, and volunteers. Develop and execute creative ways to motivate, recognize, interact with, activate and retain National Teams and nation-wide workplace fundraisers. Work towards revenue targets and KPIs for each program to demonstrate growth. Utilize the best practices of peer-to-peer fundraising to increase team activation and fundraising, while providing coaching and training to increase revenue while ensuring a successful participant and partner experience. We Already Know You Will Also Have: Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the non-profit sector and peer to peer fundraising. Comfortable with revenue targets and development-driven deliverables. Ability to manage multiple, detailed projects on multiple timelines with varying priorities in a fast-paced environment. Consummate team member, willing to roll up their sleeves and operate in a highly collaborative environment. Demonstrated ability to engage others in the achievement of revenue goals. Excellent attention to detail and planning, organization, and follow-up skills. Ability to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and make recommendations for improvements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to present to and converse with senior-level executives in a poised, professional way. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, and advanced proficiency in Excel. Familiarity and experience in use of systems and tools like Salesforce, Asana and Blackbaud?s Luminate Online, and ability to quickly learn new systems and tools. A bachelor?s degree is preferred, but a successful track record of growing revenue in a similar program will be considered.
