Job Description - Virtual Computer Science Lead Teaching Assistant
A non-profit organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Virtual Computer Science Lead Teaching Assistant.
Core Responsibilities Include:
Being the first line of support for the classroom Instructor in logistical tasks
Taking over lesson content if the Instructor is absent for the day
Serving as a model for the other Teaching Assistants (TAs) on the team and take the lead on initial TA lead lessons
Position Requirements Include:
Experience with at least one programming language
Must be coachable and model a growth mindset
Declared or Intended BA or BS in computer science or a related field by the start of program
Effectiveness and patience in guiding classroom activities
Strong time management, organizational and communication skills
